Inspired by the monster hunter videogame franchise. Made these sounds in ableton live 9. I want to get into sound design for film and games so any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't even want to know what the neighbors were thinking when they heard me growl into my microphone for like 30 seconds straight.

I growled into a mic, then simply lowered the pitch using audacity.

A noise i made for a spider-mantis hybrid demon. . . Thing.

Large dragon like beast roaring. Hissing of a monster, dinosaur growl. Breathing sounds in the beginning.

When i first tested out my zoom h5 i began talking into the mic and then all of a sudden i needed a sneeze. I was about to stop the recording but then thought it would be good to record the sneeze to see how it handled my loudness. Well it coped very well and the recording came out perfect!i then played around with it in audacity and slowed it down -86% which makes me sound like a roaring lion. So i thought i'd upload this slowed down version too!.

Made with altered sounds of me growling, my microphone being shook and a free royalty sound of a spa.

Drank milk to get lots of phlegm and recorded a growl in mixcraft 6 with effects.

An 8 min ambience of growling/creaking/breathing sound.

Then i added the paulstretch effect in audacity to create a more ominous, creepy, scary, evil, sound for a more horror like ambience. A big-cat-sounding growl; on the exhale and inhale. This sound was created using my voice, a pc mic, and a pitch-shifter. Not sure what it's suitable for, but friends keep asking me for it (i use it as my empty-the-recycle-bin noise).

My dog growls when you go anywhere near him while he is eating, i noticed he seems to leave a little bit of food so he could run to it and growl (perform) when i came downstairs later on.
